Starting the Search

A laptop and clipboard sit on a table. The clipboard holds a piece of paper that says "My Resume" and bullet points.Congratulations, you're ready to start looking for a job and a career! At this point, the schooling you received through Columbia State and beyond will have prepped you for your field, but what do you do from there?

First, we would recommend looking at our Career Development page. This page has a lot of great job related resources and is well worth exploring. Columbia State is also almost always hiring! Tons of our alumni work here, and we would be thrilled for you to join our ranks. You can check what we have available on the Employment Opportunities page. We would love to see you start your career with us.

Peterson's also has a lot of great tools for exploring your career options, such as their Career Tools and Job Search pages.

Need some more help figuring out all of your options? Gale Onefile has a Vocations and Careers search engine! Use it to find careers, find pros and cons, and compare all the things you may be interested in.
